Tesla Model Y & Model 3 Windshield Sunshade

I have purchased windshield and roof sunshades for both my Model Y and 3. In all cases, I tried a few Amazon highly rated products first, only to be disappointed. As a result, I then replace those products with Teslarati products and was impressed. Quality and functionality are perfect. But what really prompted me to write this review was the recent purchase of a center console organizer for my new Model 3. I ordered the wrong one by mistake, and when I inquired with customer service, they promptly sent me the correct one, and told me to just keep the old one free of charge and use it on my Model Y. First class all the way!

This sun shade folds easily and fits the windshield great and seems to be well made. I ended up buying a 2nd one for my wife’s car and threw away the one she had because it was difficult to fold and store.

We were having trouble finding a windscreen for the front window to fit our new Tesla Y. Most of the ones we found were of the accordion type that just take up far too much room in the vehicle. The one we purchased from Teslarati, on the other hand, is the type that twists into a pancake and comes with a small pouch that fits nicely, but snugly, into the door’s storage compartment. It helps keep the temperature inside the car much lower, when parked in the sun, than when we didn’t have the screen.

This fits, unlike other sunshades purchased in the past and is made of better materials.

Works as advertised

This sunshade is made of high quality materials and fits my Tesla windshield nicely. I could tell the difference in temperature before and after using the sunshade. It does take some practice to fold the sunshade because of its size and folding mechanism, but you get the hang of it after practicing a few times.

My Model 3 sunshade fits the entire front windshield! Makes the car much cooler and helps protect the computer. Great ordering experience as well?

Fits perfectly

This shade blocks 100% of the light coming through the front window. Keeps my car very cool during very hot summers in Florida. My car would usually be at 120° or above with the shade. The car stays at 98 degrees decreasing the battery use. If you have any other sunshade throw it away and buy this one.

This is the best shade for the Model Y and 3 that I have found. I’ve tried a few others, and what helps this one stand out is its quick set up, small profile when packaged, and how well it stays in place once set up. It’s also very effective at preventing heat. I am strongly considering a second one for my Model 3.

Love it but takes time. It fits perfect on the Model Y windshield. Not so intuitive to refold it so it fits back into its bag to store under either front seat. Watched a couple of YouTube videos to begin to get the idea of folding and twisting that has to be done to the opened screen to get it back to the size it will fit into the storage bag. It takes a bit of practice.

Folds up nice and small for storage under the seat. Practice needed for the folding but it's worth it.

The shade fits perfectly and is made out of quality materials. It came in a carrying case.. When the shade is taken out of the case, it springs to full size. I have not been able to figure out how to get it back in its carrying case.

Send me the review in the spring. We don’t get any sun in W-Michigan in the cold seasons.

Like it but the instructions on the YouTube was for a two piece system and mine came as a single system and there were some things that were not clear.
