Tesla Model Y Armrest Hidden Storage Compartment

This console insert provides a flawless way to store important documents.

This piece fits fine once the buyer knows where it is supposed to go (maybe a label/sticker saying would be beneficial?).

Love the idea of it, making use of that tucked away space. The plastic is fairly thin, however, and if it was going to need more durability, then I wouldn't recommend it. However, seeing as it's tucked away and probably won't need to be used a lot, it should last a good long while. I'm glad I bought it, and I'm glad I have it.

Fits great - exactly as advertised

Tesla Model Y Armrest Hidden Storage Compartment

Fits well, easy installation.

Very nice and fits well.

This is a good little spot but I do recommend the sliding version vs the magnetic version.

Read the instructions carefully and clean the armrest where the storage compartment contacts the armrest. Carefully insert the storage compartment into the armrest and press it in so it is snug. You’ll know when it’s fully inserted.

Easy to install. Great accessory for the Model Y interior

Excellent hiding spot and easy installation.

Overall fit, finish and usefulness is ideal. Only issue is that the door/cover, does not stay in place and not particularly useful as designed.

Pricey but clever way of using up the void on the center armrest.

Received the accessories before my car. Husband said to put everything on garage floor and make car noises 😂

Clever product

Looks decent and pretty easy to install. Could look better I suppose but hey, it's hidden. :P

I had high expectations given the reviews I read and videos I’ve seen. However, I had an issue of the magnet falling off the arm rest storage and the center compartment not sliding smoothly.

I bought it for my son-in-law for a gift. He is an IT person and really loves to trick out his car. I believe he will love it.

Easy to install and convenient way to store small items in the console.

Will be back! Thanks

The access door is very simple to open and does not grab the eye when closed. Nice fit and finish.

Bought the same one a few months ago and it didn't work. The replacement works!

Great Fit & Finish, love to have another nook to hid my stuff!

It fits well and complements the enterior of my Model Y armrest storage area. I later have seen similar products where the door access slides and does not detach. I think I'd prefer a sliding door but at least with this system, one does not have to be concerned that the door might jam or not continue to slide easily. Customer service is excellent.

The armrest is awesome. Adding this gave me easy access to items in the console. It slides up and down so you have access to the lower areas of the console. The hidden storage makes really good use of an area in the armrest where I can keep smaller items and cords. Would highly recommend as this is a must have!

This looks really nice when installed, and is a great place to stow registration and insurance documentation. However, the opening mechanism is awkward. Magnets hold it closed, but when you open it, the top piece comes completely off, by design, and you have to reinstall the piece to close it. To do so, it has to be perfectly aligned, with the bottom tabs tucked under the bottom piece. Then you gently tip up the top, for the magnets to catch and hold. Given that it's completely flush when closed, and your body position in relation to the arm rest, it takes multiple attempts that include minor pretzel like twists/contortions while barely holding the sides (so your finger tips don't get in the way) and (almost blindly) aligning tiny tabs. I'm usually swearing by the time it's properly closed, and I have average "female-sized" hands. I can't imagine how difficult this would be if I had larger hands. So, it fulfills the brief in terms of function and appearance, but the operation needs work...PLEASE. Thank you.

Tesla Model 3 & Y Armrest Hidden Storage Compartment (Gen 2)

Great extra storage site but not for items that you use frequently. Magentic flap opens easily but it remains detached so not easy to open and close frequently. Great for stuff you need out of the way but not everyday.

The hidden armrest storage is great. It fits great and looks like it is meant to be there. Easy to install.
