Tesla Model 3 Wheel and Tire Specifications Guide

The Tesla Model 3 is one of the electric vehicle maker’s most popular vehicles, with the previous generation estimated to have sold about 2.3 million units over its 6.5-year run. It would not be surprising if the upgraded Model 3, which was released in August 2023 in China and released in January 2024 in North America, ends up selling just as well -- if not better -- than its predecessor.

In a way, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that the Model 3 sedan revolutionized the auto industry. It proved that battery electric vehicles can be fun, and they could be purchased for a reasonable price. With the Model 3, modern electric vehicles became mainstream cars.

The following is a quick wheel and tire guide for the Model 3 sedan. We tried our best to cover every pertinent detail for every wheel that Tesla’s released so far. Do take note that this article will be updated over time as Tesla releases more wheels and tires for the mainstream all-electric sedan.

The upgraded Tesla Model 3, better known in electric vehicle circles as Project Highland, introduced two new wheels to the all-electric sedan. So far, only the base Model 3 Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and the Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor All Wheel Drive (AWD) have been released, though expectations are high that an upgraded Model 3 Performance variant is coming soon. As of writing, the upgraded Tesla Model 3 is offered with 18" Photon Wheels and 19" Nova Wheels.
