Tesla Model Y Glass Roof Sunshade

It would have been really helpful to have printed instructions included. Disappointed that it’s so opaque when I expected it to be more see through. It just got hot out, so still testing whether it actually works. It fits ok, needs 2 humans for installation. Clips were a puzzle I had to figure out on my own.

Arrived in good condition. Looks good but haven't had the need for it yet since it's winter.

Great, perfect fit

The sunshade is doing a job that I hoped it would do. It was clunky and cumbersome to install, but once I got it in place it is effective. I don’t know if I will leave it in place at all times, but the thought of trying to reinstall it is a bit daunting

Tesla Model Y Glass Roof Sunshade

TESLARATI REPLACED fist one which had 57 hole sin each panel of set. Second set they sent looked like someone DRAGGED SOMETHING ACROSS EACH PANEL. THESE ARE POORLY MANUFACTURED AND NOT QUALITY CHECKED. I GAVE UP ON COMPLAINING. These are not even worth the sale price.

Item fits well, directions are a little vague.

I broke 2 clips learning how to install sun screen.
Luckily you Al were nice enough to send me replacement all is good. Thanks again for the help!

Love the Quality fit

I would definitely reccomend this sunshade.

All the products I have purchased from Teslarati’s Marketplace are of high quality. Excellent customer service too.

Installation the first time was a bit tricky but the shade works great. It keeps the sun out and the temperature inside the cabin down.

Once I figured out how the clips worked the two panels were easy to install. With temps. Above 100 degrees I am really glad I bought the shades.

Easy to install. Looks great. Has greatly reduced the interior temperature of the car.

I gave the Model Y Roof Sunshade to my husband as a Father’s Day gift. He loves it! It installed super easy…2 people. He says it definitely decreases the temperature of the cabin significantly. We live in Texas so this sunshade is very helpful in the summer heat! Highly recommend! We also have the windshield sunshade too that is also great!

Works well until you try to take it off and stow it. It’s akward to bend and it broke the first time I tried to put it away. Now it doesn’t fit as well and there is a gap between the front and rear shades!

Great product. Took me less than 5 minutes to install.

Works great.

I haven't installed this yet as the winter weather in Las Vegas is perfect, however judging by the quality of the materials, the nice form fit case, and other products I've bought from Teslarati, I'm rating this 5* with the expectation that the fit will be perfect and the quality will be top notch.

Works as prescribed

I'm even cooler with the UV heat shield. This will be great when I visit Phoenix.

Good product. Two piece helps with sag. Easy to install. Instructions would be nice. But YouTube has many videos. Shade helps. Car still gets warm but not hot. I recommend this product.

I love the SUNSHADE for Tesla Model Y Glass Roof from TESLARATI because it very well fitted, good materials, and it blocked out the heat from the glass roof. I would recommend this product to all the Model Y owners.

The product fits well and was easy to install (despite zero documentation). YouTube videos available helped. Makes a difference on sunny days.

The shading performance is SUPER!
Installation is a little tedious with all the separate securing tabs, So, for the summer, it will stay in place and come down in the winter.
Works great in combination with the new venting software upgrade and remote climate controls

I didn’t expect a two piece roof shade. I was looking at the product in a one piece. How do I return this product for credit?

It accomplished the goal of blocking the sun. Much cooler driving down the highway now and the A/C seems to cool my bald head better now that the sun is blocked. Annoyance was that the sunscreen came with no directions. I could have installed it much quicker if there would have been written assembly directions or a Tube video at the Teslarati site.

With the heat wave we are having, the car’s internal temperature was quickly rising to 20 -30 degrees above outside temps. Since installing the sunshade, we are seeing temps staying close to the outside temp. It has made a noticeable difference in range also because the car isn’t working as hard to maintain cabin temps. The sunshade is a must have item living in Texas

I never received my side and back window shades and my roof shade is bent and does not fit right so it needs to be replaced

Just be careful so you don’t smack yourself lol

So far it was a breeze to install and it looks great.
